Using the Project
The S4L/LDP desperately needs contributors, even if you only have 5 minutes to spare, adding any information whether it is the name of your college or of a resource, it all helps to get the project up and running.
If you maintain a website please link to this site. The more people know about the project the more contributions we can gather.
To get started try searching for the topic you want. If it isn't found, then use the 'Add Something' link on the left and start your topic. When it is done just make sure to "insert into Wiki".
Living Documentation
Living Documentation is not like any other manual or reference text. Every word and idea is open to change and expansion. If you know anything however small or inconsequential about one of the topics covered you can add that to the content just by clicking the edit this page link and adding your entry.
No entry is to be considered 'finished', everything is open for peer review. In fact it should be your duty to add something to everything you read if you know something that isn't covered. If you find an error, correct it. If you can quote a source to support an arguement, quote it.
If you have ever given a new colleague a piece of advice then please share it with the world.
Thank you to NIACE for submitting an article on Quick Reads.
