Background
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the Qualification Curriculum Authority (QCA) have a joint ministerial remit to work together to reform provision below Level 2. This programme of work is known as the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT). The FLT is also the term used to describe qualifications at Entry Level and Level 1 in the newly formed Qualifications and Credit Framework.
NIACE is offering these half day courses to prepare organisations for the introduction of the FLT Progression Pathways.
Aims

• give you an understanding of the FLT, both in relation to Progression Pathways and Qualification Reform
• make you aware of the eight provider requirements necessary for delivering a Progression Pathway
• enable you to consider the strategic implications for your organisation
• start you on the way to developing an action plan for transition to 2010

You will find this workshop of benefit if you are:
• a middle manager
• a senior manager
