Skills For Life - Living Documentation Project
Welcome to the Skills For Life Living Documentation Project (S4L/LDP)
IF you have a resource you have created a resource then please either create a page for your resource to tell people about it and then go to the most relevent curriculum elements and create a link to your new page. Or, find the most relevent curriculum element and edit it and at the bottom describe your resource and where people can get it.
Documents can be added to elements as attachments or you can add a comment to an element or actually add text to the bottom of the curriculum page itself.
This project also maintains a list of literacy websites, Maths websites, ESOL websites and key skills activities.
The entire Adult Literacy Core Curriculum and Adult Numeracy Core Curriculum is now in the LDP. There is now an integrated glossary for both literacy and numeracy.

Using the Project
The S4L/LDP desperately needs contributors, even if you only have 5 minutes to spare, adding any information whether it is the name of your college or of a resource, it all helps to get the project up and running.
If you maintain a website please link to this site. The more people know about the project the more contributions we can gather.
Living Documentation
Living Documentation is not like any other manual or reference text. Every word and idea is open to change and expansion. If you know anything however small or inconsequential about one of the topics covered you can add that to the content just by clicking the edit this page link and adding your entry.

Adding a link to usefulwiki
Hi, your project looks very interesting. There are some great basic skills resources here that are going to be very useful to me. I hope I'll be able to help and to get involved. I work with adults, mostly school staff or potential school staff and I document most of my teaching resources on a wiki. Why not create a page on Usefulwiki about skills for life and your project that links back to your site? You'd be very welcome.
